👟 SHOES OFF: To help keep our home clean, please remove your shoes upon entering. 🔥PELLET STOVE USE (fireplace): To ensure proper operation and safety, please empty accumulated ash from burn-pot liner and clean glass window after use. (details in welcome guide) 🚭 NO SMOKING: Smoking (including tobacco, cannabis, and vaping) is not permitted in the house. Violation results in a $500 fine and cleaning charges. 🧯FIRE SAFTEY: Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property. During fire bans, please refrain from any open fires. For outdoor fires, only use the designated fire pit and ensure that it's fully extinguished before leaving. Any fines incurred from violations will be the responsibility of the guests.

This Airbnb was spectacular. From the scenic and well manicured outside to the thoughtful, clean, and detailed inside - our stay was perfect. Colin was also a fantastic, responsive, and helpful host. He gave us many local recommendations and helped provide us detailed and helpful information for the season in Leavenworth. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to stay for a peaceful place outside of Leavenworth!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and organized. Loved the air purifier, soft sheets, coffee station, stainless pans, and best of all the sound of the river flowing outside the back porch. 30 min from Leavenworth and 5 min from Lake. Hopefully we’ll be back sometime for another stay!

This was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in (60+ on Airbnb). It was spotless, perfectly maintained, and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities excellent, and everything is thoughtfully provided in great detail - from the sound system, to lighting, to little table fans for outdoor dining... The real highlight was the deck overlooking the river. The photos don't do it justice. We spent hours out there—eating meals, working, or just sitting back in the deck chairs to watch an eagle glide up and down the river.

This chalet is a little piece of heaven. Every detail—inside and out—radiates love and care. The peaceful sound of the river, lush landscaping, spacious deck with comfy seating, and screens for pets/kids made the outdoor space perfect. The master bedroom felt like a sanctuary, and waking up to those views each day was a dream. The kitchen was fully stocked, the dining table was big and welcoming—every little want was anticipated. Seriously, every want... You don’t need to leave—just bring groceries. Minutes from Lake Wenatchee and close to Leavenworth, but you’ll want to stay put. We came for a spontaneous anniversary trip while I was working in WA, and I debated several options—so glad we chose this one. Missing this experience would’ve been a loss. Colin and Ania, thank you for creating such a peaceful, thoughtful, unforgettable space. It’s all my husband and I have talked about—and we’ll return every chance we get.

We couldn’t have loved our stay more! Colin and Ania were the most responsive hosts we’ve ever had—thoughtful, kind, and incredibly attentive. Every detail was prepared with care, and anything we could possibly need was already there. When we had a question, they responded instantly with warmth and clarity. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. We ate breakfast outside each morning, surrounded by the sound of the river, wind in the trees, and more hummingbirds than I’ve ever seen. One day, we even canceled our plans just to stay and enjoy the serenity—playing yard games and relaxing by the propane firepit, which was perfect even with a burn ban. It’s rare to feel so welcomed and cared for, and we left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return. Without a doubt, our favorite Airbnb yet.

Colin's place is a perfect size for our family of 4 (two adults, two younger kids that don't mind sharing a bed). The kitchen is compact but had everything we needed for 3 breakfasts/2 dinners in over the weekend. Quality linens, comfortable beds. Easy to get here from Seattle. We were greeted by unseasonably warm weather and were happy to be able to dine alfresco and use the fire pit / stargaze one evening. This was our third stay at Colin's place (every other year across 5 years), and we plan to keep coming back. The owners have made incremental improvements/investments over the years and maintain the property well. Highly recommend - do me a favor and don't book the last weekend in February :)

A car is recommended for getting around. We're within driving distance of many local attractions—golfing at Kahler Mountain Club is only 12 minutes away, while Downtown Leavenworth is a 28-minute drive. The closest general /grocery store(s) Plain Hardware & Plain Grocery, are just a 7-minute drive. That said, there are many other great ways to navigate the area -- bring your bike(s), hiking shoes, snowmobile(s), skis, ATV and kayak(s), to Float, Hike, Walk, Ski etc.!
